10 tracks and nearly and hour's worth of Shamanic Occult Black Heavy Metal art with Ambient, Martial, Industrial, and Apocalyptic folk influence. A daring, groundreaking, and bizarre album destined to be a cult classic....
"Best record of the year. It sounds like Hawkwind doing Black metal while tripping on Mushrooms in a forest." - ZACH the Boston Redneck

"Shamanic Occult Black Heavy Metal"
This is one of the most retarded labels I've heard.
Instead of breathing fire like Immortal, what, you blow tobacco smoke at the crowd? Does the transcendental tremolo riffing better ease the listener into the spirit world? Trade in your gauntlets and battle axes for power crystals and feathered head-dresses. |
|
Anonofags always so inciteful. Eat shit, this album rules and is by far the best thing I have heard this year. Just need the new Virus album. |
|
yeah this album is a trip. totally different than what i expected. |

I know this is really hard for an imbecile such as yourself to grasp but all pre christian cultures had shamanic practices. Shamanic is a "non christian religious rite" recieved through a trance induced state... Only someone acclamated into a judeo christian swindle would view this as "retarded"... |

Here is a little tid bit of a interview we did with Mr. Birk... It will give ya a good idea of the direction we are heading towards:
First off, I must commend you on your debut album. Truly, it is a highly original and idiosyncratic work, and above all one that seems deeply PERSONAL in how you integrate so many unique elements, contours, and textures. Meaning, specifically, I deeply appreciate you guys working within the realm of heavy metal to create something *unique* rather than cobbling together various non-metal musics and making the metal aspect haphazard and then thinking (in vain) that such is somehow 'unique'. For sure, I appreciate many musics outside heavy metal, but understanding other musics' respective cores and then integrating the *essence* of each whilst keeping your foundation HEAVY METAL is a truly honorable endeavor...if that makes sense. Er, discuss!
Heathen: Well, thank you very much. The spirit of "Domination and Servitude" is the direct communion with my inner psyche and the subconscious. Inspired by a deep study of occultism and solitude in cold and grey New Hampshire. It is akin to the role of the shaman entering a trance state and then dragging the depths of this realm back into this so called "reality" in the form of a song. This is an ancient art form and heavy metal is also an ancient art form in that it goes back to something primeval and other worldly. You can hear influences of musick like Iron Maiden and Mercyful Fate to Burzum to NON to Apocalyptic Folk to Martial industrial to Hawkwind to Morbid Angel to Ulver, etc. Throw that all into a sonic arcane whirlwind and you get something very much like you said: idiosyncratic, bizarre and unique. The By-Paths to Chaos as Nietzsche would describe it. Evolution! Innovate don't Imitate, this is our path!!!
Gemini: We truly appreciate your deep look and understanding into what this album became! The work took close to a year JUST to record and mix it. Some of the songs have been crafted immaturely since 2003. We spent a lot of time getting the proper settings on the console as well. Heavy Metal in it’s melodic structure is a huge influence on us, and there is no denying it. The feeling of being lost will surely be felt by many listeners of Domination and Servitude, as it is a foggy listen. We can be considered Black/Heavy Metal to Drone! |
|
I have about 12 discs left if anyone is still interested. Shirts are sold out. |
|
I wouldn't brag about being interviewed by Nathan Birk. He also did profiles and glowing write-ups of Baphomets Horns and Amputator, if that's any indication to his taste. |
