I was gonna post this, But I posted the Obituary release and hardly no one responded, So I didn't bother. This is a killer CD though, I agree it is better than the EP. |

On another note about this issue, I remember Nate once telling me he saw Mike along time ago in a band singing/playing guitar in a type o negative cover band. |

I also do live sound/recording/ played in bands with drummers that use triggers, including mike. So i know a thing or two, and being considerate with triggers doesnt really make much sense to me. |

i think they mean that the bass drum sound is very unnatural and probably too loud in the mix... like that one Vader album... ummm... Litany was its name. worst drum triggers ever. |

You're not interpreting the way i intended. He abuses his triggers, going way faster than any top shelf drummer natural can. The point of triggers are to make ones bass drummer tone more clear, but in this case he just uses it for speed.

im saying he abuses triggers sensitivity to the point where hes barely taping the bass drum. theres no way he can hit those speeds on a normal doublebass setup. unless he is the fastest double bass player in the world. |
