this one seriously blows my mind that they were able to get.

toggletoggle post by lostinfire at Nov 12,2007 11:49am
I been waiting for this for a long time.

toggletoggle post by AUTOPSY_666   at Nov 12,2007 12:10pm
Can't touch their first 2 CDs, masterpieces!

toggletoggle post by dreadkill  at Nov 12,2007 1:18pm
i'm listening to draconian times right now. i love old paradise lost. one of the first non-thrash metal bands i ever got into.

toggletoggle post by Mike_Giallo   at Nov 12,2007 1:59pm
Gothic is definitely a masterpiece. Good shit.

toggletoggle post by dreadkill  at Nov 12,2007 2:19pm
wow, i'm surprised you like anything by them, mike. you don't seem like the type who would give that kind of music a listen. that's cool that you enjoy that album.

toggletoggle post by Mike_Giallo   at Nov 12,2007 2:31pm edited Nov 12,2007 2:47pm
I don't really like much other than Lost Paradise and Gothic, that album is great. There are a couple songs I like from other albums after but not much.

toggletoggle post by Troll at Nov 12,2007 5:39pm
The clean vocal dark rock albums are much better than the generic doom/death era stuff. Vocs kinda reminds me of James Hetfield ala Black album, but not so gay.
Draconian Times and Icon.

Paradise Lost = WIN!

Marks Showplace + TNT Security = FAIL!

it's funny that I just saw this, I'm actually listening to Lost Paradise right now, such a masterpiece!

Tonight. Anyone coming? It's a fucking Tuesday night show, it's the only event on the events page, and it's not like there's a whole lot else going on. Come on out motherfuckers.

toggletoggle post by inject-now at Nov 20,2007 11:47am
i would go if it wasn't at marks and $2000.

oh and if PL had put out a good album in the past 12 years...

toggletoggle post by lolita at Nov 20,2007 12:06pm
does anyone know what time PL get on stage?

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Nov 20,2007 5:10pm
I'm heading off now.
I'll post set times when I get there.
I'm guessing that they go on around 11-11:30.
oh and why would a band spell their name with a y instead of an i in this day and age? will anyone ever leave from the past.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Nov 20,2007 7:28pm
they are on at 11:15 I think

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Nov 20,2007 7:31pm
oh and there is no one here so if you want to get the most private paradise list show you ever got the chance to see, come down.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Nov 20,2007 8:17pm
I have yt to see any one from the accursed... they are on from 10:15 to 10:45 I think.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Nov 20,2007 8:37pm
I must admit, the whole time I've been sitting here, I've been thinking of being home eating those pomegrantes I bought earlier today. Mmm can't wait to get home and eat one of my precious.

baron: they play a good a set as all the other shows I've seen them play here. I remember, the singer's scream reminded me of andy RAOV. Thatzs who it was that I couldn't remember last time. Not really any one here yet. Like at all.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Nov 20,2007 9:44pm
the accursed showed up everyone. don't worry.

in harms way: I've never heard of this band before, but I guess that they have been around for like 12 years. One of the 3 guitarists dad talked to me. I guess he works at the lowell sun. Most if not all of the crowd came with/for this band and probably have no idea what a paradise is outside of lowell's heavenly downtown district and it's shoppes/cafés that are to die for. They most certainly don't know what happens if that paradise is lost. Maybe they remember when I was by the dashboard light, but that is another story for another time and another thread. I just have feeling this place will be even more empty after this band I done. The music is is sort of old school metal. For having 3 guitarists and a bass player, the sound isn't very full. They ended with a misfits cover too.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Nov 20,2007 10:01pm
graveyard shyft: I have a constant anti "y for an i" campaign and am near 99.999% assured to hate any band that does it. Having said that, they were ok. It would have been more appropriate if they had done the misfits cover with the make up, masks and all that went along with their graven image. The lead singer was the drummer whkch was kind of cool. slow rock. sort of like the semi-gothic stuff from danzig/4ad.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Nov 21,2007 1:51am
pictures uploading.

toggletoggle post by theaccursedvokillist nli at Nov 21,2007 7:16am
Thanks rev, for the pics and for letting EVERYONE know when we got there, if not for you, ALL those people wouldn't have got to see us!

toggletoggle post by Jo_Lynn  at Nov 21,2007 3:03pm
In Harms Way the bassist, drummer, and 2 guitarists are not from the band originally they came in to help the old band members out after a 7 year absence some members really don't understand the point of the misfits song neither do i... but w.e
