I was cracking some NYDM jokes with friends at a show in Providence a while back, as any gentleman's gentleman would do on a Friday night. A friend of a friend wandered over and asked who or what "NYDM" is and what's so funny about them. We started to stammer out our best explanation, not really knowing how to articulate it when the dude stops us and said "Ohhh you mean those faggots with the patches all over their vests?"
