im really bad with my cds.... ive bought stuff i already owned before, and constantly say "hey wait a min i think i have a cd by them" only realize i do and ive never listened to it.

i was going thru today and realized i had a 3 song sampler by Kalopsia that ive never listened to. i really need to keep track of my cds

toggletoggle post by assuck   at Oct 17,2004 11:17pm
i keep all my shit in alphabetical order, and in chronological order by band.

i'm a fuckin dork, i know.

toggletoggle post by Abbath at Oct 17,2004 11:19pm
hahahha no you're not assuck..... cause i do the same...... and i do the same with comics....

toggletoggle post by assuck   at Oct 17,2004 11:21pm
alright then i dont feel so bad. i never even thought it was weird until i watched beat the geeks on comedy central and a guy said that the geekiest thing about him is the same thing i do with my cds.

that may have been a retarded rant, but i dont feel like going over it.

toggletoggle post by retzam at Oct 17,2004 11:30pm edited Oct 17,2004 11:30pm
Yeah, I loved that show. And yes, my disc collection is alpha-chrono also (hurray for making up the term "alpha-chrono").

i have all 923 cd's that i own in alphabetical order and also in an inventory, so i may note if someone is borrowing a CD and all that jazz...gotta keep my investments in check, hah

toggletoggle post by MarkFuckingRichards  at Oct 18,2004 12:04am
add the chronological part to that too...so i have an uber alpha chrono inventorized collection. i am the geekiest of them all, fuckers!

You lightweights!

I have over 6200 Metal CDs, 1200 tapes and 100+ 7 inches.

I am probably a lot older than you guys though.

lynneaus, you should listen to the sampler, good shit. it's tracks taken directly from the album.

i keep my cds in alphabetical and chronological order to, only i have everything sorted from right to left. it confuses the fuck outa everyone hahahahaha.

toggletoggle post by Lynneaus  at Oct 18,2004 2:19am
my cds are in alpha and then chrono but i still lose track of stuff... (i have between 700 and 800) and then a shitload of tapes and some LPs even promos i have are in alpha.... i just forget what i have if i havent listened to it or if it didnt really strike me as something great.... plus theres a lot of stuff i havent listened to yet... last year i had a haul of 125 cds at once.... i did tons of listening but never made it thru everything.

toggletoggle post by kell nli at Oct 18,2004 9:13am
i'm really OCD about my CD's. I have a database on my computer, alphabetical order, so I know what ones are missing at all times. I only have about 450.
