CANDLELIGHT UNVEILS FALL RELEASE SCHEDULE GOD AMONG INSECTS, RED HARVEST, KEY REISSUES

Philadelphia: Candlelight Records announces its fall release schedule, with
noteable new albums from rising new acts plus continued work as part of the
label's year-long reissue series. Amongst the planned titles, Candlelight will
issue the new album from Norway's Red Harvest, the debut from Sweden's God
Among Insects, plus reissues from Voivod, and Severe Torture, among others.

The anticipated debut from Sweden's God Among Insects is set for September 21
release and follows already much acclaim and controversy as part of its
European album release. World Wide Death found initial objection from distributors
and retailers in Germany who found the album's artwork too graphic.
Comprised of Dark Funeral’s Emperor Magnus Caligula (vocals), The Project Hate’s Lord
K Philipson (guitar), Vomitory’s Tobben Gustafsson (drummer), and newcomer
Tomas Elofsson (guitar), the album was recorded at Abyss Studios with Tommy
Tagtgren. Sweden’s Close-Up Magazine has already called the band “one of five of
the most interesting bands.” Add early coverage via Metal Maniacs,
Blabbermouth and Brave Words and the high curiosity surrounding the band and album
release make it an album to mark and watch.

October 5 will see the release of Internal Punishment Programs, the sixth
album from Norwegian Grammy and Alarm Award nominated Red Harvest. Recorded at
Subsonic Society Studios in Oslo and mixed by Fredrik Nordstrom, it is expected
to be a growing and action-intensive year for this talented and highly
revered band. A video for album track “Anatomy of the Unknown” has already been
filmed and is expected to hit national and regional outlets in mid-October.
Digital Metal says, “when it's all said and done it's the sheer vitality and
inventiveness Red Harvest exhibit that deserves more than a celebratory gesture.
In fact, Red Harvest have no equal.” Also scheduled for release October 5 is
the new album from England's Hecate Enthroned (Redimus) and the debut from
Sweden's Damnation (Destructo Evangelia; featuring members of Entombed and
Merciless).

The second album from Wynjara is set for release October 19. Featuring
former members of Malevolent Creation, Monstrosity, Divine Empire and PainGod,
Human Plague silences a 4-year hiatus for the band. Under license from Nocturnal
Art Productions, the record showcases the band’s extreme style yet one that is
flourished with highly technical abilities. Fans of Nile take notice. In
early 2005, Candlelight will make available for the first time in the US the
band's self titled debut.

Candlelight's reissue series continues with Sweden’s Liers in Wait. Set for
October 5, the band boasts a who’s who of members in wake of their long and
trialled history. Formed in 1990 after the demise of Grotesque, guitarist
Kristian Wahlin (The Great Deceiver, Diabolique) and drummer Hans Nilsson
(Dimension Zero, The Great Deceiver) united with friends to form the early band
incarnation. The band released only this single recording, Spiritually Uncontrolled
Art, before officially disbanding. The record features Christofer Johnsson
(Therion) on vocals and has been remastered for the reissue series.

There is absolutely no denying the impressive impact Canada’s Voivod have had
on the face of aggressive and extreme music. Their legacy finds a creativity
unlike any other of their peers and followers, culminating near 20 years of
sheer inventiveness and recording genius. Kronik, Negatron and Phobos
represent the middle recording years of the band. Each have been unavailable in the
US some time. Candlelight Records reintroduces them to US fans on November 2,
prior to the band's expected 2005 new album.

Holland's Severe Torture have amassed a sizeable worldwide following since
their formation in 1997. On November 16, Candlelight will conclude the label's
2004 release schedule with the reissue of the band's two album's, complete
with updated and bonus material. Feasting on Blood and Misanthropic Carnage find
US re-release as the band continues work on their third full-length album.

Additional titles in Candlelight's fall reissue series includes
Soulreaper/Lifegrazer, Primordial/Dark Romanticism, Kataklysm/Victims ofthe Fallen
World-Northern Hyperblast Live and all four of Emperor's initial recordings complete
with digital/cd-rom enhancements. Watch for the label's early 2005 release
schedule, to be announced shortly.
