also, esp "truckster" james hetfield signature model.. affecting the used value negatively but making it a much better guitar, i stripped off the ugly ass fake looking "relic" paint job, used dark brown stain and rubbed it in tung oil.. looks and feels much better now. still has a "relic" look to it, seems like a vintage guitar and not something built in the last 10 years. no problems, sounds sick but im not a fan of the 24 3/4" scale. i dont want to sell it really but im using the money to fund hardware for 3 new guitars im building, and that shits expensive... $600 including set up with new strings..

Do the Bambi and Barbie coloring books come with the guitar, or are those seperate? |
I mean the black one that MDB posted...not the brown one. the brown one looks awesome. |
Yeah the original paint job was very unfortunate because the guitar its self is fricken sweet |
wait did you do that to yours? i just assumed it was an alternate paint option. |
No, they came out either black or grey and had fake wear and tear "relic" paint jobs so the kiddies felt like they were using James hetfields real tour used guitar, but it was just scratches done with a sharp tool or something and was pretty corny. I stripped it off using a heatgun and sandpaper, dyed it dark brown and rubbed in tungoil.. it still has the "relic" feel to it, moreso now |
