New site? Maybe some day.
I'm trying to keep track of the beers that I'm trying. Mostly stouts. Mostly hippie shit with fruits and stuff. I'm going to post pictures and reviews of each. I will probably edit out porno images. Sorry. |
i suggest samuel smiths oatmeat stout and the imperial stout. pretty much anything SS dose is great. |
Yeah, I've had that ss oatmeal stout. Good stuff. I spent $50.60 today in Maine on this gayness. |
I went to Carl's meat market in Kittery Maine |
Gigity.
There is a hard pear cider made by fox something that was really fruity. You might like it. |
The Thirteenth Hour(samual adams), is one of my favs. |

Love their oatmeal stout, but I don't think it's gay enough for Aaron's thread. |

Anyone that got into craft beer in the past three years is a trendfag. |
Boulevard Dark Truth Stout and Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale are excellent beers. |

Anyone that uses the word 'craft' and 'beer' in the same sentence is a fag. Unless it's 'I crafted this war-hammer to smash your brains in after I finish this beer'. |
I guess that means everyone who drinks specialty beers is a fag. |

Everyone in this thread is a fag. |
Spoken like a milk stout drinker. |
this was good... I don't remember anything about it.
Rogue Shakespeare Oatmeal Stout
Wren said he liked it.
Cadillac mountain stout bar harbor brewing company
I also don't remember anything about this.. but I guess it was good.

I've been buying random barley wines, limbics, ales, and framboise for years.. I wanted to make a thread/album so I don't try more than once |
Cockeyed cooper bourbon barrel barley wine ale.
11.1%.. first few sips are really good.
thats how strong my beer love is |
it's going to be a little bit of a labor to get through this since it's huge. |
Kate the Great by Portsmouth Brewery is a world class stout. Not sure if they're going to make it this year, though, since the head brewer left and he had the rights to the recipe. |
Hm... I do love Portsmouth.
That barley wine was damn good, but I should have drank water yesterday. I have a headache this morning. |
Good luck getting some Kate the Great. If you ever see it, get me a bottle. I'll buy it at a high price, stranger. |
I had Founders Breakfast Stout yesterday and it was delicious. |

I have a bottle from 2009 or 2010 that I've been aging in a small wine fridge in hopes of getting a 2013 bottle, so I can compare the two. Unfortunately, since the old head brewer left with rights to the recipe, I'm not sure if they'll be having Kate the Great Day this year. If they don't have it then I may cave and just crack open the bottle in late March or something. |

I miss when all Rev drank were fruity drinks with umbrellas in them. |

The description on the side of the bottle is sport on.
iStout 10%
roasted, dark chocolatey and much more bitter than guiness. leaning towards an IPA. |
Weyerbacher riserva
raspberry puree.
takes m'eh so far. |
Leftys makes a breakfast stout. Chocolate coffee oat and then dry hopped with organic local bacon. Mm mm bitch. |
Fruit beers are usually the worst. |

Fruit beers are usually the worst. |
maybe true 10 years ago, but they're not marketed for bitches the are into wine coolers anymore. a lot of them will sit you on your ass, and taste good doing it. Dogfish head comes to mind.
the general rule is that if you can buy a fruit beer in a 12 pack it will be the worst.
I got a couple dogfish. A 20oz 10% gives me a decent buzz and sipping is good for a night. |
Creme brulee stout southernteirbrewing.com
I want more of this. I had the dark chocolat stout from them last night. amazing. |
I've had a good beer made with pear, but I don't remember what it was. |
That creme brulee is really tasty, Southern Tier nails it 80% of the time. |
I'm hit or miss with Southern Tier. The Creme Brulee Stout sounds kind of interesting, but things like their Choklat Stout are just way too chocolatey for me. I know it's pretty highly praised, but I just can't get into it for some reason. |
if you think that the xocolat is too chocolatey, then your opinion of the creme brulee is probably going to be the same. I drank the chokolat in the shower and when I spat, my phlegm was chocolatey. |
wow.. I am sooooo far behind on this thread. I basically have drank a different beer every night. |
AWESOME. I had it as a shower beer. Spat and there was all this chocolate in my spit. love this. |
sweet and light. |
love stouts and it's new. it was a little bitter, but still good. |
I bought a second one of these. very good. it's hot. |
not bad. This is what all normal "beers" would be better served tasting like. |
I didn't care for this. too normal beer tasting and it was almost a chore to drink. |
I could drink this, but probably won't again. it was light tasting. |
it was ok. needs more of a ginger taste. |
stuff is awesome. it's like $12 for a little bottle. wicked good. |
stuff kicks major ass. rich, creamy, but still bitter with flavor. |
mean old tom was pretty good. |
blew $107 today. |
good stuff. love mead. |
it had a VERY natural blueberry taste to it. |
a great stout. |
grape must.. like butterfly farts?
this was good. tasted like wine-ish. |
not bad. |
heavy goodness. |
I don't remember... oops./ |
$5 for a stout. nice. |
love chai. this could be a bit more chai-tea ish. |
awesome. tastes just like bananas |
bitter from the coffee, but good. |
no wonder most dogfish heads are $11.99 and this was $7.99
it tasted exactly like the garbage that was behind me.
GARBAGE |
THE FACT THAT YOU LIKE THE BANANA BREAD BEER MAKES THIS THREAD VOID OF ANY SUBSTANCE |
Left hand nitro milk stout is excellent. |

I like my beers like I like my dames, yellow on the outside, white on the in side. |
pretty good. someone said there is a limb and life that is better. |
it was just ok. I would just assume have the other 2 |
this is the first IPA I have liked. probably cause it's got sweet stuff. |
I don't really remember it standin gout. |
I don't remember. |
blonde beers are ok, I guess |
pretty damn tasty |
I remember this being light, but good. |
This ruled. love it more than even a rasputin. |
chocolately, but dark chocolate. was weird. would rather the imperial |
a little thin for a sout if you ask me. |
the hops taste like lyche.
the chocolate was awesome. the vanilla was not so much.
simple and cheap. loved it.
was too big.
was ok
loved it.

it was ok, but too big
was skunky
thanks hillarie. loved it. would drink again.
I don't like IPAs.. so it was ok
