"Avant-garde" stuff like this used to be what I sought most in metal. Then I eventually I found most of that stuff I once liked to be extremely lame.

But Virus is different. They are exactly what I wanted in avant-garde metal. Baffling but still always heavy. Pumped for this new record.

Well put. I seriously never thought they'd top Black Flux but they continue to keep me in my toes while still maintaining a style all their own.
