Medicinal properties don't equate to health benefits. Cough syrup may ease a cough but that doesn't make it beneficial to your health. My point is that smoking anything is inherently not good for you and I honestly don't think the net effect of any alleged medicinal properties of smoked marijuana outweigh the negative effects of inhaling smoke consistently over years and years.
