Haha. I think we (Life at Zero) played 2 shows back-to-back with Internal Bleeding -- a Friday night in Queens (I think Pessimist headlined), and then the next night upstate at Saratoga Winners at an all-day clusterfuck fest. We waited all fucking day and we played 2nd to last and IB played last. We loaded shit up and drove back to NH that night, got home like 5am. That had to be at least 10 years ago.
Late 90s, early 2000s, that style was excusable. Now that it's been done by 400 different "death metal" bands in that era (death metal used loosely) and then completely abused by the metalcore movement (lest we forget), it's just friggin' painful.
Driven to Conquer was a chill record. Disagreements will be moshed and died

I remember seeing Internal Bleeding open for Cryptopsy and they destroyed the place. Saw them a few times afterwards and I literally had to walk away. Voracious Contempt will always remain my favorite.

Frank Rini or pussy.
Only my piss yellow Voracious Contempt longsleeve in 9th grade was real.
haha Cryptopsy & IB at the Palladium. I think Goratory opened? As the Sun Sets played the stupidest set ever. Yesterday I didn't know what day of the week it was, but I remember that show in detail.

was that the show where IB vocalist climbed the PA and epic stage dove from like 20ft up?
posting a track from the one album we spoke well of that is also from 95 doesnt exactly prove your point haha.
Hahaha... well I also posted a video of my old band opening for them while I'm wearing a Driven to Conquer shirt onstage, clearly I am a shameless IB fanboy
That was Skinless. You're never going to get interviewed for a local scene documentary with a dubious historical recollection like that.
Ohhhh thats right, my memory aint what it never was. I get all those bands muddled up. When it comes to 'slam' I would muchhhhh prefer shit like Devourment or Regurgitation to Dying Fetus or IB.

Onward to Mecca was totally lame but I'm still down with this.
There are huge tires outside. I tried doing the strong man flip with them. That was fun. If cars weren't in the way, I would have kept going with them.
REV! 7+ years too long my old friend! such a great venue for a band like IB - but such a shame that newjacks today just dont show any respect for a band that was doing this shit when they were still sperm. didnt even look like more then 2 bands stuck around to see the headliner - ah well. seeing you and my IB fellas, and a few other oldies was well worth coming out...take care - we can roll up to the next one 7 years from now im matching wheelchairs haha
