I wanted to go to this but I'm stuck at work. Mares Of Thrace is good stuff.

I was gonna go to this to see Primitive Weapons and check out if Pilgrim are as bad everyone keep saying (haven't heard them at all yet) but I am being a super fag about riding my bike out there in the rain. fucking rain. fuck.

Primitive weapons were a surprise. I thought this was just going to be all heavy metal and rock metal, but PW sounded like they could sit in that brief moment of time when bands like sex positions roamed the earth.

Pilgrim was cool. It's a lot like black pyramid but not as much happens.

I kept thinking the drummer was chiodo identified.

Holy fucking shit. That's precious. Word on the street is someone in that band own St. Vitus bar in Brooklyn.

The derp-y looking guitar player in back of the above photo and the singer own Vitus, I believe.

Pilgrim has played NE before (Ralph's). It was before they had their record out and people started to slam them. They got a lucky break and ran with it.
