Wondering who you all would consider the best drummer in New England, currently in a band or not?

toggletoggle post by Yeti at Apr 5,2012 7:54am
the most entertaining drummer to watch is Greg from Obsidian Tongue.

jimbo and composted mike come to mind when we're talking classical chops and finesse. they can play pretty much anything. drummers aren't worth a lot unless they can play jazz, swing, latin like the greats.

Is this a joke or do you enjoy sucking dick?

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Apr 5,2012 9:35am
this is wicked hard since there are so many good drummers from mass... so I'm going to pick 3 that others might not think about. 2 of which are still looking for bands (as far as I know)
1) the drummer from Fresh Kill.

2) Jon from psyopus

3) JN from lecherous nocturne

Bilby is good, i used to play with him awhile back but ive also played with marcus, jeff beckwith and mark gibbons who are all very good but i honestly would say judging by improvisional sessions that Marcus is probably the best or one of the best.......

Alex b is def the fastest blaster though

toggletoggle post by DaveMaggotCOTDS   at Apr 5,2012 4:19pm
i'll go with my own drummer Ryan Connolly from COTDS, and my sweet sweet teddy bear Mikey from COMPOSTED. <3

no, bass is what the band gives to the girl member that the singer is banging.

Really gotta give it to Bilby & Slar & Alex in a three way tie for first.
Serious contenders as well-
Barry-Mob Hit/Gozu/Wargasm
John Bean-Slap Shot
Neil 'The Brute' Dyke-Blood For Blood/Ramallah
