As far as bass playing goes, this is some of the more inspiring playing I've heard in forever, an intricate woven texture of technical proficiency that makes perfect sense. It ain't that overwhelming either, constantly driving and pushing the songs into a cosmic cavity of infernal novas, but constantly grounded by a diesel vortex of composure. Yah know what I mean?

Bass comes out clearer on some tracks, overall decent stuff. Their 2005 release was pretty good too.
