naw, the 3G is mad old. It works on the 3gs I think.
Anyhow, iCloud rules and with the new FB app, I can do 90-99% of my business on the iPad if I want.
What we need now is a native gmail app that works like the fb app so you can attach things.

The last time I tried updating my iPhone software on my 3G, it completely reset the whole thing and I lost all my stuff. I have the iPhone 4 now. I've been trying to find how to set up another backup file so I can get my pics and numbers back if it happens again.

@mk: back up and then update and finally restore. Once you update to ios5, tun on the cloud and you will never lose crap again.

Apparently my computer or iTunes is retarded. I downloaded the newest iTunes update today and tonight I updated to the new software. It told me before I updated that it would create a backup file so I wouldn't lose everything on my phone. I've been trying to retrieve my shit using the backup file but I keep getting error messages saying the restore failed and the backup session failed. I don't understand where the errors are coming from. I have all the updated crap and the backup file shows up but my phone won't accept it or something. This is the second time this has done this to me.

Apples servers are getting hammered.. I got a lot of errors earlier. Carina is pussed cause a nag,e she had didn't restore.

Took me over two hours to get it. Kept getting error messages during the final step.

So I guess I'm gonna keep trying then. Obviously if the backup hadn't of worked the first time, I wouldn't have updated.

Carina had updated to the cloud and then restored back from her itunes which erased everything. All I did was
1) wipe settings/content
2) restore from the cloud

and it was all there. iCloud rules.
