OPERA IX are proud to announce the signing with Agonia Records for the release of the upcoming album titled Strix Maledictae in Aeternum, a great opera dedicated to the Dark Ages of Medieval Witchcraft.
The album was recorded at the Occultum studios owned by the guitarist Ossian. It was mastered at the Necromorbus Studios. Artwork was created by Kriss Verwimp. The album will be released as a digipack CD and limited Vinyl. Promotional video clip of the song Mandragora was made. It will be broadcast in autumn.
The new album will be released in November 2011 (Samonios) when light will give a way to darkness.

I remember these guys (and girl), they did a cool cover of Rime of the Ancient Mariner on a Maiden tribute album years back. When I wrote their singer Cadaveria a nice e-mail back then, she actually wrote back to me, very cool of her to write back to a random fan because people generally don't bother.
