Anyone park around MDF before? Are there garages? Is it easy? I am thinking of getting a hotel that's 5 miles away.

Plenty of nearby street parking.
There is a lot in front of Sonar but I suggest not using it because shitbag crust punks hang out there and might fuck with your shit.

there is a lot next to the hotel I always stay in, the Mt Vernon... 24 hours is under $10 and its like a 5 min walk from the place

Do NOT leave your car on the street near the Sonar. I learned my lesson last year to the tune of a smashed window, stolen gps and mp3 player. There's at least half a dozen lots within 5 blocks all for like $7-$12 a day. Worth it.
