Don't think there is much of a difference at all between the two, but RTTP is the last place I would go to for this question. Ask the nerds at the Harmony Central Effects Forum or any of the other FX forums there are.
I'm just looking for some pictures to verify that the two are pretty close. So far, I've found a couple of differences in my Taiwan model from the schematic that's all over the interwebs. I figured someone here would have the Made in Japan model. Everyone on the stompbox nerd forums I'm on just gives me shit for liking the pedal in the first place!
