I like to call 4 year olds who get run over with lawn mowers and the people that do it fucking idiots.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Apr 23,2004 6:57pm
don't those mowers say "don't use on a steep incline"?

toggletoggle post by morkul  at Apr 23,2004 7:18pm
I hope it wasn't a John Deere. I will be fucked if it was. Next thing you know more cutbacks to pay for this lawsuit." Routine Maintenance Asshole".

toggletoggle post by retzam at Apr 23,2004 9:45pm
If his head injuries caused him to die at the hospital, then it doesn't sound like he was cut to shreds or anything. Very sad, but I really don't blame this on the guy who was riding the lawn mower.

toggletoggle post by Kalopsia   at Apr 24,2004 1:10am
i know what you mean retzam, he backed into the kid. it's not like he purposefully ran him over. i dunno i think he shoulda taken a little more precaution backing up though. i mean when u know you're working around children they can go anywhere, and one obviously did

toggletoggle post by retzam at Apr 24,2004 7:27am
Yeah, he could have looked behind him before he backed up at least.

toggletoggle post by DeOdiumMortis  at Apr 24,2004 7:40am
That's what happens when people named Roberta and Orville get married.
Only in America™.

toggletoggle post by retzam at Apr 24,2004 7:47am
hahaha

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Apr 24,2004 12:37pm
he probably was asking for it..
I mean look it at how he was dressed...

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Apr 24,2004 6:03pm
I fucking hate the kid and I am glad he died.

toggletoggle post by retzam at Apr 24,2004 6:15pm
I love your posts Joe.

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Apr 24,2004 10:41pm
ummm fucking idiots!
if you know you are babysitting..and it's a small child..you should know where they are at all times..
then the lameass must have known the boy was outside playing...
otherwise bad babysitting
oh and the guy was 65...maybe he needed glasses...
turn 65 and redo your driving test ...this is similar
an 80 yr old man almost killed me two yrs ago...am i bitter..no?
ps: seat belt saved my life

toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Apr 24,2004 10:44pm
Maybe the kid should have been watched by a woman so the man could do many things, like drive his lawnmower over someone elses kids.
Or better yet, haha just kidding. There is nothing better then this story.

toggletoggle post by retzam at Apr 24,2004 10:58pm
Carina, I have to disagree with you on this.

Here is the first sentence of the article: "A 4-year-old boy died Thursday after his baby sitter's husband accidentally ran over him with a riding lawn mower."

He wasn't the one babysitting the kid, that was his wife's job. That means it was her responsibility to be keeping track of him at all times, not his.

what the fuck?????? no pictures? fuck this thread.

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Apr 24,2004 10:59pm
but did you see this:
Justin Eric Simmons was at a home day care facility operated by Roberta and Orville Reedy
~~~
the couple owned the daycare...irrespoonsible on BOTH their parts
toggletoggle post by succubus  at Apr 24,2004 11:01pm
i dunno...but cut yer grass on weekends if you have a daycare with kids running around during the week...i understand it was an accident and that it "rolled" backwards
but if it were my child..i'd be pissed nonetheless (understatement)
i trusted these people with my child..ya know?
ok i'm shutting it now!
toggletoggle post by retzam at Apr 24,2004 11:02pm
Yeah, I guess you're right. But since the article does specifically site him as the babysitter's husband, I say that it is 70% her fault, 30% his. Maybe 60-40 actually. Why was he mowing the lawn during operating hours anyway??
toggletoggle post by succubus  at Apr 24,2004 11:04pm
exactly!
toggletoggle post by intricateprocess   at Apr 25,2004 2:55am
first off, i cut grass at a cemetary 3 years in row. riding on a steep incline? not a good idea........... second off, its a 4 year old kid. how the hell do you run sumthing like that over? the mower has like a 2 inch ground clearence. go lo0ok at your lawnmower. it'd be tough to run over a fetus let alone a 4 year old. thats almost impossible.
watch dead alive..........thats just how dangerous lawnmowers are
toggletoggle post by Joe/NotCommon   at Apr 25,2004 10:29am
Lets test this theory.
I can round some children up, who has a ride on lawn mower?
Mike get the van tonight, we got a mission!
toggletoggle post by menstrual_sweatpants_disco   at Apr 25,2004 4:30pm
What is with the strange obsession with dead children? It must make you feel really special...
toggletoggle post by Abbath at Apr 25,2004 6:00pm
yum dead babies yum!
toggletoggle post by Niccolai   at Apr 25,2004 7:39pm
thats the most pussified dead baby I've ever seen...
toggletoggle post by dread_104  at Apr 25,2004 11:20pm
i agree with retzam. the husband was doing his shit, mowing the lawn. i can see how the wife could lose track of the kid tho. She was probably too busy in the kitchen, where she belongs. haha!
as for the kid, all i can say is that the child who swallows the most marbles doesn't grow up to have kids of his own. passive eugenics.
