There's a chance I'll be able to make it to Europe for a bit this summer and I'd like to catch as many good fests as I can.

Wacken, Party San and Hole in the Sky are all in August best I remember. Hellfest looks amazing but that's in June. What are some other fests?

i want to try to get scaphism on a euro fest next year. is there any trick to doing this? i think ramming speed did it last year

Ramming speed did it with tons of touring experience and candlelight records backing them. Don't want to be a negative nancy, but you would definitely want to get to the point of being an established band (ie legit label/full length out) before you try something like that.

Dysentery is gearing up for our first euro trip after our new album drops in 2010, if that helps give you an idea of what I mean.
