New site? Maybe some day.
I'm a lifelong metal drummer with studio and touring experience. I have top notch fundamental skills (double bass, blasting etc.), I'm good with odd rhythms, arranging, and I know my way around the guitar as well. I'm easy to get along with and I dedicate myself fully to anything I commit to.
I'm looking for musicians, bands, etc. for anything from sessions to studio collaborations to a full time signed/touring commitment. Here is what I'm looking for- obviously some of these apply more heavily to certain types of gigs:
-An interest in technical death, black, progressive, or otherwise experimental metal (not interested in metalcore, thrash revival, hippy doom, pig squeals, or anything blatantly derivative)
-Experienced, proficient players
-Well listened
-Motivated, dedicated, and diligent
-Pro gear or the ability to make decent gear sound great
-Professionalism in musical and business senses (Please, no demo bands. Professional EPs are okay.)
-An awareness of presentation and aesthetics (NOT gimmicks)
-Promotional and networking savvy
-No junkies
My playing can be heard at http://www.myspace.com/lecherousnocturne .
If I sound like someone you may be interested in working with, please send links to your playing to fast AT ymail DOTCOM. (Yes, that is my real e-mail address!) Thanks for reading,
-Jeremy |

description alone = I love you |

be prepared to become everyone's new best friend. |
does that mean you moved back home and arent in lecherous nocturne anymore? |
Wow, no list of shitty influences? Is this a RTTP first for available musician posts? |
Influences include Slipknot, Nickelback, and ICP.
By the way, your playing sounds most excellent. |

I second this. |

Wish you posted this last year. |

Palm to face. Half a million people in this city, and not ONE compatible musician?! Disappointed, but not surprised. |
well you are one of those elite dudes arent you? |
Elitist? I'm particular, but I have an open mind...if that makes sense. |
Palm to face. Half a million people in this city, and not ONE compatible musician?! Disappointed, but not surprised. |
Well, you're good, but I didn't ask you to join my project because I already have a drummer at the moment and your tone isn't what I've been looking for. |
Palm to face. Half a million people in this city, and not ONE compatible musician?! Disappointed, but not surprised. |
Well, it's only been less than half of a month since you posted this here, so be patient. |
Also ouchdrummer plays drums for every band, ever, so the demographics are a bit skewed. LOL |
You're quite obviously looking for something far further along than I'm at right now...it's just me at this point and I'm trying to scrap something together (With no luck whatsoever at this point) But I'll post a link to my songs regardless. http://www.soundclick.com/thygod
(And yes, your drumming is quite badass.) |
Hadn't noticed I wasn't logged in. I'm a genius. |

Well, I'm surprised, but betting that most musicians in the area at the level you're looking for are busy enough, or have no idea what this website is, or haven't seen your post in the past 2 weeks. You'll probably have to extend your search way beyond the city anyway. |

GET BACK IN THE BASS KITCHEN |
I'd be interested with one of my projects, but sounds like you just want to go go straight for the kill (album) rather than table scraps (demo) |

YES MASSUH |
You should flier any practice spaces you can get to. If you want to email me a flier or something, I can put it in the Bandstand place in Taunton if that's not too far. |
6 months ago this guy would have been scooped up in like a matter of hours |

not enough metal bands there |
Yeah I know that but it's worth a fucking shot you shoegazer! |

Archaeon may have stayed a band. Who knows. Maybe I'll reboot the franchise. |
You're probably right! Plus, I have Eliot to play bass, second guitar, and drums if I ever wanted to record anything important. I have like 10 unfinished ideas for what could be future archaeon/martins songs. |
or you could just get this dudeguy brah to play drums FOR LIVE SHOWS. |
Not at that point anyway but this guy seems to be right up my alley death metal-wise so I'll probably keep him in mind. |
Way to disband your post rock idea |
No that's still going to happen but I will probably use DKFH or get my own small kit or both. |
Plus, I still need to buy myself a delay pedal. Keep forgetting to. |
if you get that band started up again maybe we can hook up a show with my rock project. could be fun times |
martins never fails to gay up a thread when its needed. |
not having a delay pedal despite post rock project aspirations is a little lulzy |
Yeah, tap tempo would be nice and Malekko makes an analog one but I'm definitely getting that Ekko 616. Problem is, they've been out of stock for months now. |
OP, any of your questions about delay pedals and bad music still unanswered? |
Yeah, tap tempo would be nice and Malekko makes an analog one but I'm definitely getting that Ekko 616. Problem is, they've been out of stock for months now. |
the one that you want to get is analog, or am I missing something? |
God, pedals are so expensive. I was really into the Carbon Copy for a while and I've found a few for around 70 dollars used but the sellers were too particular about how they'd be receiving money. The Ekko 616 just has more features than the Carbon Copy with the Modulation knob and buffered modes. Just looks sick. And I'm pretty dead set on all analog for now. Especially for a post rocky type thing. |

Yeah. Malekko makes an analog tap tempo pedal (at least, I'm pretty sure it's all analog). It's just out of my price range. |

retracted, I get what you're saying now. |
Anyway, yeah. I'll stop gaying up this thread.
Good luck finding a band for your talents, sir. |
it was a joke martins. lets chat about how FFXIII is awesome. |
You're a joke! It got a 39/40 from Famitsu lol. I guess FFfans everywhere are raging hard. |
i guess so. they need to make more coop FF games. |
It's out god damn next thursday in Japan. We have to wait 3 whole months for it to release on the same day as God of War 3. Well, at least the localization time has decreased. |
true. i'm still hoping for a re-release of both snatcher and policenauts for the current consoles either in store or in their marketplaces. |
This thread turned pretty gay other than realizing you ain't got no delay pedal but want to start a post rock band. |
If it's gay to dork out on gear, I don't want to be straight. |

If I could get my stupid 3DO games to burn correctly I'd be playing Policenauts right now. |
Lol. 3DO, CDi, Jaguar64 - all failed |
CDi was a useless piece of shit. same with the jaguar. at least the 3DO had wing commander 3 and the definitive home port of Street Fighter II Turbo. |
the game that i got packaged with my 3DO, ("crash & burn") was one of the best racing games i ever played. I loved it. That system was a lot of fun. |
One of the worst games ever on one of the worst systems of all time:

Sewer Shark drummed for Despotic Robot? |
EXACTLY. Or I think He played drums in SEWER SHARK. Is there a band with that name already? I want it |
Whoa...this thread blew up. I've been using avenues other than this- the lack of compatible musicians in Boston is what led me to play in Lecherous in the first place. I played with Despotic once upon a time, but I've been out of the scene here since then. I'm working on a few things already, but I figured a project up here would be cool. Thanks for all the open eyes and ears. |
if i didnt already have drummers for the 3 death metal bands im doing, i wouldve contacted you long ago. |

This was really good in despotic robot when he played for em back in like 2005 or 2006 |

6 months ago I too was looking for a band. |
HYEO does need a drummer. Think it over man. I'd hate to have you do it just to be playing out, cause we're committed to this and tired of switching drummers, but if it Botch meets Brutal Truth makes you wet, I say do it. |
I can't believe I posted this almost 6 months ago. Has anything changed?! |
I can't believe you are just idle.
ITT: one amazing drummer. |
yeeeeeee-ah, come join Metallica-eahhhh, i fucking hate Lars, hes unforgiven yeaaaaaah, black was our best album yeeaaaaaaaah! |
DUDE why do YOU HATE on LARS. LARS can DRUM circles AROUND YOUR SKULL PIECE HATHEAD |
Definitely not idle, I have a few things in the works, but I'm looking for some people to work with locally...haven't had that in about 4 years. |
