I'm learning about the how labels thing and going to make filters for everything. I sort of like that you can make multiple labels per-email.

i have easily 30 different folders and 20-30 filters already and im no where's near having the organization down.

I uploaded like 2000 of my few million emails to test out my filters. looks good so far. I just spent $20 for an extra 10GB since I'm at 6.013GB of 7.3GB

I'm waiting for my invite to that. Google Wave rules, but the problem is that email works anywhere. To get google wave to work, you need google stuff there.

and then I look in the importing email account and there are tons of emails with nothing in their bodies. Just the dates that gmail said they failed. I wasn't too worries until I noticed that some of the mails had reply info attached to them, but nothing else. I hope that it's a deletion fail from the previous email get. I would hate to have lost anything.

I am merging like 20 copies of all my emails.
1) gmail automatically removes duplicates.
2) thunderbird email files are very simple.

I'm using windows to cat them together.
copy file1+file2+file3 combinedfile

I am missing WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY too many emails.. hm..

I did some searching on some radio station emails from 1998 and the emails were there! it seems like emails from 2001 and before are a crap shoot weather they are there or not.

I have gmail as well. Sometimes some glitches, but it works well. I use Carbonite for back-up.
