that sucks. i've had Bridge (using CS 3) hang on me a lot lately...the ~25MB raw files probably need more RAM...

I think it was cause I dragged 6.7GB worth of NEFs ranging from 175-340MB each into ACR and edit a few in ACR, but then only opened the one I was interested in editing. I've dumped bridge since it's so slow and try using Light Room 2.4 more. Problem is that LR2.4 won't load NEFs or JPEGs over 40MB even on my computer that has 7GB of RAM.

I can make prints, I put in an order for a bunch of prints already and think I printed that one at 8x12, but the print is glossy not lustre or matte.

oh ok. I went to the beach once to take shots like that and I got a card full of fail. I used a VR lens with VR turned on on a tripod. That camera shoots ISO6 so I've been meaning to go try my hand at it again, but haven't yet.
