wait, the wheelchair wasn't a place to be drunk and foolish? |
what time does this even start yo? |
I heard Nigel Glockler and Dan Beehler are both going to this. |
yep both will be there. as well as tom angelripper and it of abruptum |
Hey, heads up everyone, I just got news that Adam Bomb and Doink The Clown are going to be there. Bam Bam Bigelow is a possibility. |
So excited for this. Hopefully I won't be too sick to fully thrash out! |
Sunday night sausage fest. |
I'm gonna try and make this. Hope i dont show up too late! |
I followed the trail of walking dead to their door. about to start. |
silent violence: they were a bit sloppy mostly the wasted singer, but he held it together. They were pretty good. I think I've seen some of the members in other bands before. The drummer needed to have his kit miced IMHO. I don't think other drummers will, but he didn't his very hard. |
razormaze: the best razormaze set or the bestest razormaze set? That was ridiculous. Completely over the top crowd response and all their bestest songs. The floor now looks like a sandy, muddy mess. The raining beer started during their set. Probably for the best, but a lot of good keg cups were lost during this set. |
ravage: completely obvious that they is their practice space since they sounded 20x better than the other bands. The crowd was more subdued of course since their music is a lot more relaxed, but there was still plenty of tims when people thrashed in the pit. Not many of them were spilling beer everywhere, but I did get some on my leg. Congrats to them for being on metal blade and for putting on such a sweet er... I mean evil show.
At this point, the kegs were kicked. They are organizng a beer run. |
witchhaven: hm.. Seems like the ravage fans left... Lame. The crowd thinned a bit for them. Still there was tons of circle pits. I can't imagine this room if it were filled with all the ravage fans too. There were people in the crowd that knew like every single word and olther songs by this band. Enough to yell requests. Amazing. I don't think I've heard of this band before. |

Drunk and foolish, yes, but drunk and toolish is a different story, poor bastards were the butts of everybody's jokes and they didn't even know it. |
I'm at home working on pictures. Those kids might be young and foolish, but that's what you get with youth and alcohol. When I was their age, that led me to black painted fingernails and thinking that the crow was pretty cool. |
Getting up did suck. Being awake still sucks as well, but it was worth it! |
Thanks to everyone who came down and made this show a great time. Thanks to the rev, foghorn, the bands and everyone who traveled long distance. |
How were Exmortus and Bonded by Blood? |
this was amazing. i was obliterated. this is my generalized internet apology to anyone who thought i was being an asshat.
exmortus was amazing, nonstop super technical guitar dueling.
bonded by blood was great as well, however i dont remember too much of what was going on at that point...ugh. 10 hour shift today, ugh. |
Thanks to everyone for coming! It was a blast.
Alex, it's only duct tape and chapstick....don't worry about it! You rule! |
bonded by blood was great. they were even better than I thought they would be. They even ended with bonded by blood which ruled more than I thought it would. |
This was the funnest show of '09 thus far. |
still one of my favorite shows! |
The best shows always happen the trashiest of locations. |
