Wow, epic fail. Probably the last way you think you're going to go as a firefighter.

The Jamaicaway was fuckin' NUTS. Total parking lot. Just in time for rush hour.

"Five other people who witnessed the crash were taken to the hospital with emotional distress."

you fucking faggots. you've got to find some way to make something that had nothing to do with you about you. "oh but i suffer from anxiiiiiieetyyy". fuck you.

Some people who witness traumatic events where someone dies (such as that) have reoccuring thoughts and nightmares of it. People are afraid of dying, and afraid of anything that has to do with death. I bet you they were all religious.

This would continue to make news if they found out one of the firemen had coke/weed/alcohol in their system.
They made such a huge deal last year with that Chinese restaurant incident.

i sympathize with people with mental health/psychiatric issues, but it seems ridiculous that these people would go to the hospital with emotional stress.

It's all fun and games until the fire truck crashes.

i'm not saying its not ok to feel distress after witnessing something like that, i myself have been shaken up by watching something horrific unfold, but really, you go home, relax, and you're fine the next day. its just a reason to miss a day of work and then go back and have everyone ask you about how you were able to handle seeing such a teeeeeerrrriiible thing, and then you can inflate your ego by telling your triumphant story about overcoming odds.
