New site? Maybe some day.

All the best bands are realists.
And most of their fans spend most of their time trying to translate realism into that hipster reality that "it's all good man" -- which in reality means "you owe me something just because I'm alive, so pay up."
HAHA |
you never cease to confuse me. Would you mind giving an example to better describe? |
and for once, how about a LITERAL example, not a metaphor using socialism to describe the lack of spirituality in the fans of metal today. |
did you realy just post a link to the idea your presenting instead of putting it into your own words? Come on man, I am looking for YOU to explain it HERE in a LITERAL way so that we can finally see that your not ALWAYS full of shit... or at least that's what i was giving you the option to do. |
really? Nothing?
Listen dude, i am about the only person on here who entertains the idea that you really do have interesting things to say. I read and respond to most of your posts..... do me this favor and TELL ME WHAT THE HELL YOUR TALKING ABOUT! |
All the best bands are realists. They recognize misanthropy, or the idea that most people are parasites, and embrace warfare/violence/horror as a mechanism through which, among other things, problems can be solved. I'm thinking Morbid Angel, Gorguts, Slayer, etc. here
Then the fans attempt to make that into something simple and "friendly" or "peaceful," when this would in fact (and does, if you get a chance to ask said bands) disgust their heroes.
Thank you for the kind words. I agree this thread needs more attention but had posted the link for unrelated reasons. |
that is the fine line between good and bad metal bands. Morbid Angel is extremely popular but have never compromised their art. A 'purist' who would come off sounding like a pretentious cock would be disgusted at someone preaching that Morbid Angel is "totally essential, dude" while listening to the heaviest deathcore band with the shiniest NY hats. |
realists believe that hell is a place that exists...oh...hmm |
sorry. "heaviest" deathcore group. |
