I noticed that site mentions nothing of a 2009 show. I pray that it's over because I have fear it will eat up the Pagan Fest 2 tour and I absolutely DO NOT want to ruin my chance to see Primordial at that shit stain of a festival.

I would much prefer picking and choosing the shows I want to go to at the palladium. Instead of waiting through loads of bands I hate only to see the best performers get 20 minute sets.

MDF is better than every other American fest out there (no offense NEDF dudes)

NEMHF was good the first few years....but it has been on a constant decline of a few decent metal bands, and way too much lame "floorpuncher/tough guy" hardcore.

I had fun at the first one. I remember seeing Deicide, Morbid Angel, Manowar, Diabolic, Exhumed, Usurper, Overkill, Madball, and a ton of shit bands. There might have been some other decent bands but I forget.

Which one had the "Overcast Reunion" ? That was the last one I went to I think.. wasn't too bad.

I missed the first one cause of lack of money. after that, I think I got in free. some nemhf are awesome are clinkers. last year was really good from what I remember.

I went in 2000, 2004, and 2005 and had fun all 3 times. Granted, I was more into that commercialized hardcore back then, but still, I had fun.

The first year was and will always be the best.

That first day looks amazing....I don't think I'd have been able to handle seeing Napalm Death, Converge, Candiria, Cave In, Isis, and DEP all in one day...my head would've exploded....

2001 had a killer lineup too. Meshuggah, Opeth, Dimmu, Corpse, early Lamb of God, Exhumed, Noctuary, Dying Fetus, Pessimist, Nile, Gorguts, Skinless, Amorphis, Monstrosity, Malevolent Creation....

2000 had the misfits with michael gayves.

Does anyone have flyers or just the lineups for the other years? I went in 2001 and 2002 and had a blast each time, but since then there just hasn't been anything to get too excited about. They usually snatch up the new england date of a couple good tours that would be better on their own.
