should the_reverend pepperless implement signature attatchments to the board?

meaning you have personalized text attached to each of your messages, or an attatchment image hosted on another server... (certain size only)...

i think it would be cool, and make it easier to scroll down and find certain people's posts if you're in a rush.

i have this on my board (which you are no longer a member of btw) lol

and i had to email/mesage people telling them to make their sig smaller...they annoy a lot of people i guess

there's gotta be a way to cap the attatchment size...you're board just doesn't have the option to cap it off. rev the 1337 coding madman could prog it up within minutes i'm sure.

myspace does it, 500k limit on pictures.

I'm not allowing pictures as I can't fucking stand boaders with picture sigs. if I did text, it would have a limit of 100-255 chars or something... I don't know though... I guess we'll see what people think. I just hate fucking images.

oh and tom, that 500K limit on pictures for ms is done easily... it's all on upload. I could easily have it so that someone could upload a picture and limit size/res/format.. once you upload something to a server, you have full control.

Yeah, coding a size cap isn't hard at all. Given the complexity of this website, I'm rather sure he could do it quickly.

Many of my friends are engineers and computer programmers. We all get giddy when someone starts discussing their project or presents a 'how would you code this' type of debate. We're dorky.

if I were going to do that, I could
1) just go in the databases and increase the "no" vote.
2) go to the 100 different computers I have here and vote from all those.
