astronomer is starting very very quietly. the cops pre-told them to turn down cause someone in the neighborhood already complained.

astronomer had their orignal drummer back. they also played quiet enough to hear a mouse fart after it ate a box of raison bran. this is one of the few bands that I think I like the band better than the members like the band at last when you tak to them about it. which I do CONSTANTLY.

When MAST played there on one of Robin's Monday shows we had to turn down real low.

I guess a developer put nice condos around the block (it used to be GHETTO) and they bitch and moan about the noise.

but holy shit, that's crazy that Obriens picked up the show like that.

obriens had a show that fell apart. so they were closing up to head home when robin called.

I officially have no clue which band is which.

A storm of light reminded me of a more rocking jesu. Maybe mixing jesu and isis? maybe a little unearthly trance for good measures. What a terrible comparison. They were both very loud and very quiet with a computer playing a lot of things like girls voices n stuff. Which makes them a lot more like jesu.

Amenra: they were pretty intense. Think of how intense rosetta is, but strip it down light wise and sample wise to just 3-4 bars of white lights. The singer never faced the crowd, he faced the drummer and made drunken swan hand jestures.

This show was beyond belief...

one of the best things was seeing decker (even though briefly) while he was home from military training and IMMEDIATELY feeling him up like your highschool swim coach used to cause everyone's been telling me he's jacked now. good thing i'm not creepy. great dude.

one of the downsides was eating spikes with blue and then getting love songs stuck in my head. that would have been and more appropriate time to feel someone up.
