MIDDLETOWN - A 32-year-old woman was sentenced to a month in the Middletown Jail Monday after she was arrested and charged with chasing children, blocking traffic and yelling at police - all while wearing a cow costume.

Michele Allen pleaded guilty Monday in Middletown Municipal Court to one count of disorderly conduct, court officials said.
Middletown police said she chased children in the 3100 block of Wilbraham Road and urinated on a neighbor's porch Saturday night. An officer ordered her to go home and stay there.
About 11 p.m., police were called to the 2400 block of North Verity Avenue after receiving a report that a woman in a cow costume was blocking traffic.
Allen had alcohol on her breath, slurred her words, was belligerent and swore at the officer, a report states.
They also just said on the news she had to appear in court the next day still in her cow costume. lol. |

She had been hired to wear the outfit to advertise for a local "haunted trail" theme park.
We get people dressed in various attire when they're in court. But this was a first, someone dressed as a cow.
But she left the job to go on a drunken two-day binge.
Judge Mark Wall at the Mooonicipal (sorry, we mean Municipal) court Ohio sentenced her to 30 days in jail for her own good.
"Michelle is pretty well known to us. She's 'struggled,' to say the least," he told the New York Post.
But when she was taken to jail she really put her foot and mouth in it when she started shouting at other inmates telling them to "suck her udders."
Police said that the cow suit was all she had on and had to take her mugshot while she was still wearing it.
And as that was her only form of attire she had to go to court wearing the ridiculous outfit.
The judge said "We get people dressed in various attire when they're in court. But this was a first, someone dressed as a cow." |
