why do I not remember a single add/adhd kid when I was in school?

ADD/ADHD Is just another false diagnosis for the pharmacutical companies to cash in. If you took everyone on this planet and had them evaluated, everyone would have some sort of mental disorder tagged on them.

ADD is a totally valid diagnosis. Problem is, for a while it was the pop diagnosis when a lazy MD or shrink couldn't figure out why the kid wouldn't listen - "He's got the ADD, pump him full of Ritalin so he'll sit down and shut up."

truf, but when I was a kid, I can only think of one kid that had it (a friend's little "uncontrollable" brother). now, every kid has it.

dya you're right, it is valid, but not nearly as many people have it as they say do. any kid who doesn't act like a full grown adult has some kind of issue. imagination is now a mental disorder.
