Morbid didn't put it out. If I remember correctly, Nick released it himself. I think anyways. It was way better than the cd Morbid put out called "A conflict scenario" which was an attempt at sounding like DEP with techdeath. I actually really liked this mcd, i will see if i still have it.

Musically, A Conflict Scenario is amazing, but the vocals suck. They remind me of some wailing retard. Still an extremely underrated band.

You can get a copy of the album from Chris, he's got a whole shitload of the Dormant Strains CD's left. Conflict Scenario is the harder one to find.

Just email Chris through the Pillory myspace page and see if he can scare up a copy.

By the way, Chris was the singer, so don't make the mistake I made of saying the vocals sucked.

Haha, are you kidding me? I LOVE those vocals. Reminds me of Gorguts and the coming apocalypse. Every time I listen to Virulence I feel like I'm being punished. It's SO awesome.

BTW, A Conflict Scenario is far greater than Dormant Strains in my opinion.

ACS is more organic, it's tech/grindy but it has more of a real feel to it, like there's really a bunch of jazz cats jamming in the same room who just happen to keep busting into sick metal parts.

Virulence, Goratory, Skinles, Dying Fetus and Vital Remains played at Palladium upstairs a few years ago...

more than that, Virulence broke up around 4 years ago. Still, thought, that's a show I wish I could have seen.

I saw that show, it was awesome. That's back when the vocals were still brutal.

That disc was good. But they were WAY better live.

virulence one of my favorite bands big influence on my guitar playing. I thought ACS was insane, sick blasting and drumming and some of the most twisted riffing out there. Dormaint strains is equally as twisted. Excellent live too.

ETERNAL SUFFERING played that too. Such a sick show.

Nick was a good shit. He ate spaggett and meatballs with my entire family once. Such a charming southern boy. No one really heard his awesome black metal band Volkstrom with Jeff (Hirudinea), Chris (Pillory) and Cody (Witch Tomb). Shit was tits. Sounded like old ...And Oceans and Enslaved with almost Bethlehem like vocals. There is a demo floating around somewhere online I think.
