I live in a small 2 bedroom apartment and keep it at a steady 69-70 degrees and I just got a 400 dollar bill. Anyone else paying this much? It's ridiculous.

we just pay every time we fill the tank...

we heat a whole house and I don't think it costs nearly that much

You can call the gas company and pay an 'average' for 12 months plan. Then you don't get shafted in the winter. Our house bill was $340 in the winter, and we did the average plan for $140/month instead.

My last delivery was 170 gallons and came up to a stellar $625...I think it was like $3.599 a gallon. Lame.

Oil that is...

Propane heat -- last bill was $308.96. We also have propane hot water, a propane range/oven, and a propane fireplace. I don't think that's too horrible considering we are in the dead of winter.
