Anyone have a favorite classical composer?

For myself, I'd say Frédéric Chopin. I've attempted many of his pieces which have been transcribed for classical guitar from piano and any trouble I've ever had playing anything else pales in comparison to the trouble I have playing much of his work.

I like baroque. It's all about the harpsichord. Couldn't name a single composer, though.

Tchaikovsky takes the trophy.

Slavonic Dances. wonderful shit.

Also, I just found out about this guy Astor Piazolla. He's slightly more comtemporary, but awesome nonetheless. Seen 12 Monkeys? They stole a chunk of his tunes for that movie. baDA baDA bumbadaBAAAAAAAA.

Check out Handel's Air and Variations (the Harmonious Blacksmith.) I'm a big fan o' the harpsichord.

my fave's are Mozart, Ludwig van, JS Bach, Albinoni, Saint Saens, Bartok, just to name a few. not a big fan of Chopin though. a tad too romantic for my taste.
