i was on my way to work at 5am and saw a welfare line of people at staples. the mall was fucking packed too.

at 9 last night the parking lot and line for the best buy/ comp usa in salem was full and the line wrapped around the parking lot.

I don't understand...if everybody knows it's Black Friday, and that EVERYTHING is going to be packed, then why does everybody go out? I just don't understand it, could someone be so kind as to enlighten me a bit?

I've worked in retail enough to know that no amount of deals make going out today worthwhile. The running of the bulls is more organized and calm.

not worth my time this year..there def weren't deals as great as prior years.
fuck rebates
people are getting more dumb and standing out in line as early as 5m on thanksgiving..which fucks things up for more people
on the bright side of thins...i got a bunch of deals online and didn't freeze my ass off

25% off of everything at H & M.. I went on my lunch break. It wasn't that bad, the lines were no worse than usual.

If I had to wait in line, then it would not be worth the bullshiat.
