Mosquito Control. They'll never write anything as powerful as Hive Destruction or Poison Eggs. I love all their shit, but that stuff is where Isis came from. I remember getting a copy of their demo from Aaron at his house. Still got it too. I used to trade him SWANS records for Hydra-stuff. I still have a boss copy of the Converge/Brutal Truth split 7" on blue with a hand-silk-screened cover #'d/100. Ah, the glory days of hardcore.

I think i would have to argue that. I saw their first shows and have the first demo tape, and i can tell you they weren't a straight up hardcore band by any conventional means
My favorite is "Celestial", the most Godflesh sounding one. I never even heard anything past it though, so i am no expert on later Isis stuff.
