i'm pissed i missed this...they showed an update after the pats game and it was 6-6 in the 12th. right then i knew what i had missed, but hey, watching the pats dismantle yet another team was pretty great

I missed this...I had it ON THE CHANNEL, but I fell asleep.

I was following this all through the Pats game, and caught the 13th inning. What a finish. Dude totally missed the plate though. The Rockies got a gift on that one, even though I don't think it would have made a difference the way they were hitting the ball.

And all the time I'm thinking.... where the fucking hell did the Rockies come from??!

I still can't believe it though. Everytime I checked the standings they were puttering around 3rd of 4th place through most of the year. Maybe I was just looking at it from the fantasy standpoint where they only had 1 or 2 guys that were considered fantasy factors. totally weird.

the rockies were a pretty solid team all year, but were in 3rd place for most of it, due to the arizona and san diego juggernauts. i hope peavy still wins the cy and gets consideration for mvp.

I dig the Rockies. I always had a soft spot for them as an NL squad. Glad to see they made it after an amazing game like that.
