bums snuck into the basement and slept on her old mattress... and fell asleep smoking. luckly all is ok except she cant be there for 2 weeks cuz of smoke. but fuck that if ur gonna squat a place dont burn it down. let the people renting burn down their own places.
I used to get super nervous about my old apartment. The basement was FULL of trash, broken furniture, and old newspapers, and the landlord flat-out refused to secure the outside entrance, so crackheads would hang out and cook up. I kept expecting to come home to a giant blaze.
Now, when we pushed the couch out onto the curb and set it on fire, that was TOTALLY different and OK.
at my old place, I found drunks sleeping in the hallway. where carina and I live now, there are tracks out back that bums used to live. though, I'm more worried about the people downstairs lighting the place on fire due to their finances.
