i don't own one and i know nothing about them. i only want a player that will play music, i don't care about videos or anything like that. what are some good ones? also, what is the gig to song ratio? i want to put an assload of songs on it, i figure if i put all the cds i have it will be in the thousands, so i don't know anything about the memory space i'll need. danke. |

I have a 60 mb(?) ipod, with crazy space. I have 1 mb left unused, and it has about 12,000 songs on it. I basically just threw every cd I own on it. |

oh. i'm not too computer literate. however, the max ammount it can store is about 15,000. i also found out that you need a better reciever for the ipod in a car. the little 20$ ones fry out |

if ur gonna use this in a car i recommend not getting an ipod but rather getting a pioneer mp3 cd player. u can burn like 15 albums on one 10 cent cd and play regular cds. and its 99 bux at best buy. plus it sound way better than an ipod connection. |

a lot of people have had very good luck with apple refurbs. I've heard 0 horror stories.
I go the other way and get it from BB with a replacement plan... then in 3 years with a little luck and some graphite dust, I get a new iPod! |

i should have done that ... then i wouldnt be out $100 from losing my damn mp3 player in 4 days.

fuck its only 100 bucks might as well do it anyway. i change my cd like once a week or less and obviously its easy as fuck. no like rear loading shit that cd changers had. |
