seriously, read that 6 moons review. The guy built an $11,000 + audiophile system and used the sony PS1 as his cd player. He ran $900 connectors from a $25 video game system.

Supposedly if you leave them running and let them run hot, they sound more warm and analogue than any high end cd player on the market, some costing more than $6000.

I don't know about trying to sell one, but if I find one somewhere cheap I might bring it home for myself.
