After 45 minutes, That is a long time, I would think they would be like a shriveled up piece of shoe leather after that long.

My sister told me the ones we had were Pale Ale brats and they tasted like shit.
She is the German child, while I'm the Irish one. So, I'm taking her word that Brats aren't supposed to taste that bad.

no, but i've had awesome brazilian smoked meat at this place in worcester called "pampas churrascaria"

they do everything from sausage to chicken to beef to pork, and you can even have all of those things wrapped in bacon(the chicken wrapped in bacon is amazing). all slow cooked in a brick roasting oven

they weigh your meal and charge you by the oz.

that pretty much means don't bother with the sides

I'm pissed that I didn't get hired to work in framingham. Seems like all the great "secret" places to eat in MA are there. Had to get hired for Westwood and not Framingham.

Wis. festival sells deep-fried testicles Sun May 13, 2:56 PM ET



Around here, it may be tough to pass up anything deep-fried.

Wisconsinites have deep-fried cheese curds, candy bars and Twinkies. They now have deep-fried livestock testicles, too.

More than 300 people paid $5 for all-you-can-eat goat, lamb and bull testicles Saturday at the ninth annual Testicle Festival at Mama's Place Bar and Grill in Elderon in central Wisconsin.

"Once you get over the mental (aspect) of what you're eating, it's just like eating any other food, and it tastes good," Buster Hoffman said.

Festival founder Nancy Fenske said the festival grew out of her late husband Roger's birthday party 12 years ago. They decided to have "a nut fry" at Mama's Place after bringing back lamb fries from a trip to Montana.

The event grew every year and now they fry up to 100 pounds of testicles, she said.

"What else can you do in a small town?" Fenske said.

Butch Joubert, 58, likes the parts sandwiched between bread with tartar sauce. They're not so different from regular meatballs also served at the festival, he said.

"After a few beers, you can't really tell the difference," Joubert said.

I had that in Crowley Louisiana!! SO GOOD... i was with my buddy's uncle and he brought me to this little ass store in the middle of nowhere and made me try it fresh after being made... it was still warm...

brats are fuggin awesome in beer.. just get a tin tray fill it w/ beer.. throw it on the grill.. let them sumbitches boil w/ onions and some peppers in there... then trow em on the gril for like 5 min... fucking insane.
