maybe it's just New York but i've noticed a lot of hip hop kids at metal shows. Anyone else see this out in the NE area? Kids wearing straight brimmed hats with the stickers still on and super super baggy jeans and nike shoes that aren't tied. It's not like they're at the wrong show cause they actually get into the music. It just seems like when they're around their friends or at school or whatever they dress like wiggers and pretend they like rap to fit in but then they go to metal shows on the weekends.

Rev i know you must have noticed it at Sick Shit Fest.

Anyone else got any comments?

toggletoggle post by Lamp  at May 4,2007 1:12pm
Wiggers at shows are a rare sighting for me, there was some major wigger at Asshole Parade egging Travis on though.

There were some of those kids at metalfest, but I don't see it too often.

No wiggers at metal shows in RI...and don't even lump this place in with ct...ct doesn't count as a NE state

toggletoggle post by pam   at May 4,2007 1:50pm
That's because there are no metal shows in RI.

CT has always repped the ill-wig set. Back in '96 it was all about the bubble-vest, baggy pants and trying to look like Tim from VOD

Maybe they do like rap. I love both hip hop and metal, and I don't worry about my long hair and Danzig shirt at a hip hop show.

I'm just plain tired of seeing hip-hop kids.

I just laughed at this. Hard.

I'll take both of them to my house, beat them over the head with a sledgehammer, put them in a blender, and turn them into asshole smoothies.
