i'm usually fine but lately and especially now

like this weird feeling in my chest ..not sharp pains .more like ..something is getting in the way and i have to take deep breaths to breathe

I do. I also have anxiety issues and it makes it hard to breathe and I get palpitations at times. It really sucks but you'll get used to it.

Palpitations feel like your heart thumps a few times...kind of weird...then you lose your breath for a few...you try to take deep breaths to compensate and can't get a deep breath...so it's really scary. Sometimes you'll feel an adrenaline shot come out of your chest like you feel when you are very scared. Usually you end up sticking a finger on your Jugular and feeling your pulse...this is where the anxiety sets in.

a palpitation is an irregular heart beat....maybe an extra one...or maybe you skip one....but you can definitely feel it in your chest.

i have a whole history of heart problems stemming from birth, best thing i could suggest is seeing a cardiologist and he'll probably want to run a halti(spelling?)-monitor

I also have a heart murmur. But, it doesn't seem to affect me too much.

think i have a heart murmur but i havent gone to the doctor about it... if i eat realy really well and alot i dont notice it. i also sleep on my stomache and this fucks with it. sometimes i get gas build up in my lungs too... that different but its like i cant breathe in all the way or it kills then i just cough and hit it and it gets fixed

I had a heart palpitation once, when i was drinking like two pots of coffee a day. I swtiched to decaf for a while, now I limit my consumption of coffee.

I caught a nasty flu four years ago and about a month after the flu was gone I was hospitalized because I was having trouble breathing and chest pains. It turns out both were caused by the remnants of the flu virus attacking my heart. Good times! The cure was pretty simple though, spend a week downing a shit load of Bayer.

The quacks diagnosed me with a heart murmur when I was 16 or something. They made a big fucking deal out of it and ran all these gay tests and it turned out to be nothing. I have since ingested a variety of drugs and that didn't kill me. I bench over 300lbs every week and that hasn't killed me. I wouldn't worry about it, you'll be fine.

I went to the doctor the other day for intense chest pains I had for about a week and half. It felt like my heart was being stabbed and on top of that my left arm was almost numb. Sunday night I could hardly breathe because it KILLLED to breathe in. It's not cardiovascular, but w/out ibuprofen it hasn't gone away.

I've got something like that, but I've never been to the doctor about it... which I probably should seeing as severe heart problems tend to run in my family.

i have heart palpatations now thanks to smoking cigarettes while on the patch

every now and then my heart skips a beat, it did yesterday. i started to feel weird and my heart just stopped for like 1 or 2 seconds, then it gave this deep thud and went back to normal. it happens from time to time. i dont get anxiety from it, actually i think it feels kind of cool, like putting one foot through deaths door.

my son had one when he was born, but it went away after a couple weeks. i get this feeling sometimes too.. my heart just beats weird.. not fast .. slow but really hard.. i thought it was something called vertigo b/c it makes me dizzy.. but who knows.. haven't been to the doc in ages.

I had a heart murmur when I had a severe sinus infection...and then I guess it went away or something...or I may still have it, I don't know.
