I was in a bric-a-brac consignment store filled with kitchy stuff. My girlfriend was poking through a big box of vintage photos, and I was flipping through a box of LP's. I was doing it mainly out of boredom, since she was taking her time. I have never found anything of interest in records at a place like this (or used bookstores or salvation army etc.) and I never expect to. It is mostly Foriegner / Don Ho / Areosmith / Airsupply etc... But right in the middle is Abbattoir - The Only Safe Place. (combat records 1986)

I'm not even a big fan of Abbattoir, but hey, it's fun to stumble across metal, especially when you're bored. I have a soft spot for the 80's speed metal and I'll get anything on Combat Records. For $5.00 you can't go wrong.

There was also a copy of Sword - Metallized if anyone is interested. I alredy had that so I passed on it.
