New site? Maybe some day.

We're thinking about doing Armageddon Boston. We've been looking for a space. We're ready to give it a shot.
If anyone knows of any available retail spaces in a decent part of town that poeple can get to relatively easily (Allston, Somerville, Brighton?, Mass Ave?...), please let us know.

I saw some retail space today on Highland Ave in Somerville, it's about halfway between Somerville City Hall and Davis Square. |
Address? If you roll by again, if there's any info let us know. Thanks man.

Right on the 90 bus route |
Yeah, I'll probably be by there over the weekend and get you the address. |
take over Quincy Tapes and Records |
Take over the Regeneration location. I think they closed... |
Do it!!! Boston needs a metal shop.I'll work for t-shirts. |
take over the apartment full of cape verdeans that live beneath me (in every sense of the word) and setup shop there. |
Taking over the RE-GEN space makes perfect sense.Does anybody have Ross or Sue's contact info for the ARMAGEDDON guys? |
"Take over the Regeneration location. I think they closed... "
Best idea ever, i think it would do very well in Allston |
yeah...unleashed the armageddon to the Boston community, it will be like the first strip joint in Boston since the demise of the combat zone |
Hell yeah, check out the Quincy area, because you are right out of Boston and no traffic and right near the Red train line! |
i think re:gen is remodeling to do ONLY tattoos. the re:gen records part of it is done. |
Regeneration will open again on Feb 14th as a tattoo only studio. We checked that out, and I'm sure thay will do good there. Ross and Sue are awesome folks. I think Ross is working on a show space type thing.
Anyhow, anyone comes up with anything else, let me know.
Three considerations for us:
Easy to get to via public transport, or driving.
In a decent area.
Rent vs square footage has to work out moneywise.
We're looking forward to this, it would be nice to have a local Boston/MA music section with all the bands from up there that don't come down here, and vice versa. The Boston thing would be probably more focused on Punk and Metal if we have to have a smaller space. If it's bigger, well, more options for everyone.

About a half mile up from RE-GEN on Beacon St there is a store that used to be the home of Hi-Fi records.I think it is still un-rented.It's two blocks up from thcoolidge corner heading towards Cleveland Circle. |
I'll look that up. Going in to Boston next week to Drive around and look at spaces (3rd trip now).

hopefully this works out, I hate going to Newbury to get a very limited selection of metal cds. |
Armageddon Shop is the reason why I eat Ramen Noodles all the time. |
.....I wouldn't have it any other way. |
Ok, we're coming to Boston Thursday to look for spaces. Any leads between now and then appreciated. |
