Who else misses AS THE SUN SETS? Only if they could bring the band back together, they have to be one of the most insane bands along with FORCEFEDGLASS that I totally and utterly miss.

One of their bassists broke my collar bone mid axe swing years back in Wakefield MA. It was awesome.

I heard FORCEFEDGLASS' drummer played for Converge or plays for Converge.

I never got a chance to see FFG live.

Dood they were fuckin animals I loved em I still have their cd from 8 yrs ago, they had to be at the top of the food chain in the late 90's, at least in eastern MA

the atss lineup with joe krewko on bass was the greatest thing ever. "each individual voice" was a flawless album.

That def. was the best album probably of the year

Yeah the drummer from FFG plays for Converge and Cave-In now. He briefly played for The Cignal as well, I believe?

As The Sun Sets is basically now Daughters. I thought later ATSS sucked but that one album with the samples from Jacob's Ladder rocked hardcore.

i started to dislike them later in their career as well, and hate every band that was ever created by the members, except for umbrella(s?). they were good for a little while at first.

The bass player was a fucking asshole. I love when I'm at a show and someone is all friendly with you, then when they are "feelin it" they grab your head and throw you to the ground. Good stuff.

I had these guys stay at my old house once after the metal/grind/hardcore fest I did in 1999. Nice chaps. Some of them were into some cool stuff, so we talked about some of my then-CD collection for a few hours.

I'm an ATSS and Daughters fan, but I can see how people get rubbed the wrong way by them. Whatever. I will say, however, that I had much trouble procuring the new Faceless album and the bassist in Daughters, who works at Newbury in the prov place mall, spent about an hour in store looking in racks with me because he saw the store did have one in stock. Then, when it was not located, called another store for me and had them look.

So, defaulted by his kindness, cool doods, and whatever, I like both vocal styles.
