Facts reguarding Dane trying out...

1. They initially wanted Dane (after hearing our EP) and got a nice guy from Ferret Records to contact us to see if it would be okay to ask him. Why they didn't contact us directly is a mystery as we're on myspace and our info is readily avilable. Anyways, I approved.

2. Dane's never heard them before a month ago, mainly because of what he's heard from other people he never bothered checking them out. But, this was an oppourtunity for him to see the world for free and get out of his current living/work situation.

3. They basically had him under the impression that he already got the gig over the phone. He sells his truck, leaves us, his job, his friends, family, and his girlfriend with no intentions of returning anytime soon. So they Fly him out there to live with them and their rich folks and he basically finds out that they're paying Talley to do the CD and some other kid who sent a video in of himself playing all the songs. Dane still tried out and from what he says learned a good amount of 3 songs in a day, didn't enjoy playing with them nearly as much as us. He came home the next day no hard feelings.

JFAC a least at this point seems like a flash in the pan pseudo death metal band.... where Porphyria has serious potential to get somewhere so long as they get a solid vocalist and get a good label behind them to give them that big push... so it definitly sucks what Dane did here to give them a try only to be hornswaggled.
