when you kill a zombie, it's no a death scene, it's an undeath scene since they are undead.

I know, I thought the same thing, but it's still pretty sweet.

Dawn of the dead. When the Mexican guy has his arm in the pulse machine then gets ripped apart. Fuckin incredible. It's a sad day when they consider anything from Jason x number 1. Otherwise the list is surprisingly decent. But also what about Cannibal holocaust or Murder set pieces. They never get real horror experts to make these lists. Oh yeah, and what about the Omen when the priest gets impaled.

Yeah dude, Jason X was weak...although that was a pretty good death.

They did some research and picked some good scenes, and I actually agree that the Jason X death with liquid nitrogen was fucking awesome but not worth #1.

Good to see 2 Fulci movies on there, but I think that Cpt. Rhodes death should have been #1 or #2. "CHOKE ON 'EM! CHOKE 'ON EM!"

I gotta say, High Tension was nothing special, but the "Dad's head through the banister" scene was crucial. Any italian horror eye-impalement is great (I'm partial to Zombi 2), and - while it may not be horror - there are several contenders in Final Destination 2. (I must've rewound, replayed, fast forwarded and slow-motioned the "pane of glass falls on kid" scene 50,000 times).

I'd put Final Destination 2 more in the "Horror/Comedy" bracket. Extremley gruesome, but so over the top it was comedical. I love the scene with the Barb-Wire Dissection (isn't that a song? If not, it should be.)

in the movie Maniac when Tom Savini's character gets a Face Full of Shotgun.

although it;s not a horror movie....the scene in cube when the guy gets sliced up in when the grid comes up and he gets sliced into cubes that slowly fall off is pretty sweet.

I believe it happens in both films.
