The Lovekill's full-length Astro Magnetic's debut These Moments are Momentum is officially slated for release July 11, 2006. Newbury Comics will be doing a special pre-order through the month of June to feature the full-length and the limited edition The Sleepover EP for one low price. You can preview tracks from the forthcoming record on the band's newly revamped myspace page or on the Astro Magnetics last.fm. It was recorded by A.J. Mogis at Presto! Studios in Lincoln NE, and Stephen Pederson, Esq. at C+ Studio in Omaha and has been described as "the urgency of mid-'80s Dischord bands such as Scream and Rites of Spring. Songwriting is interesting and rocking and singer sounds like Guy Picciotto at times and like Mick Collins at others." (Dave McGurgan)

Additionally, The Lovekill confirmed a string of new tour dates in July around the record release and will be keeping a journal while they are on the road. The first entry is available at blog.myspace.com/thelovekill from the Omaha, NE show.

Doormouse knows I love him. Any time I question him on something, the jerk has to remind me how much I loved the Embodyment "Narrow Scope..." CD - but that was before androgeny infiltrated hardcore/metal. Something just tells me these dudes look fruitier than any of those myspace "featured artists". And I'm totally not even homophobic. What I AM is anti-false labeling. If you're a dude and you're wearing make-up, you're either calling it corpsepaint and committing atrocities in HIS name or you're sucking pricks. So if you're not burning down churches, exhibit some follow-through and get suckin'.
