I think what this scene needs is, not more shows in the classic sense, but rather psudo-shows, with no actual bands, we can just rent out any old KOC and everyone will come, and we'll take turns playing different kinds of music through the PA. the hardcore kids will pick up change and crowd punch the metalheads, the metal kids will circle headbang and punch the emo kids in the back of the heads, and emo kids will cling to thier friends and whisper thier secret fears to one another
